Jude Nelson Freeman Bead Jewellery

My ongoing bead jewellery project ... I’ve always loved beads, particularly orginal ethnic ones that have a story and were hard to come by. I enjoy making individual pieces of jewellery to wear as a tangible memory. Occasionally I gather together a small collection which I sell as one-off pieces, together with their story if there is one to tell.

I rarely go into a bead shop and buy all I need, because I prefer to gather beads and trinkets over time from far and wide. Particularly from Morocco and India where the process of purchasing them can be slow and involved.
