italy

I have a strong connection with Italy and have always felt at home in the Mediterranean South.

I restored, and lived in, an ancient village house and am drawn to this beautiful part of the world.

There is a farm, an Agriturismo, south of Brindisi amongst olive groves and vineyards in the Salento region of Puglia, owned and run by a wonderful friend of mine, Francesca. She already offers her magical place for Bed and Breakfast and other meals, but Masseria Piutri is still quite a precious secret. We often talk about offering short breaks, where you can dive into rural southern Italian life less than an hour after your plane has landed. You can learn to cook some simple and delicious food, using ingredients from the farm, and improve your Italian too if you wish. You can restore yourself, immersed in the countryside, not far from the sea, with many interesting places to explore. It’s not a boutique hotel, no spa or bathrobes here, just simple authentic rural life in peace and beauty.

If this entices you, let me know, and I’ll tell you more..
